Finding & buying
What is madelah?
A directory of Singapore’s home-based businesses. Discover here; deal directly with sellers.
Do I need an account?
Not to browse. Sellers sign in to manage their business.
How do I order?
Open a business card and use its contact links. Confirm availability, price and date with the seller.
Can I pay on madelah?
No. Pay the seller directly. Delivery, cancellations and refunds are agreed with them.
Will I receive an order email?
Email requests are not open yet. Contact the seller directly for confirmation.
Are all listings halal?
No. Check each listing’s declaration and confirm with the seller. Listing approval is not halal certification.
What about allergies?
Ask the seller about ingredients and cross-contact before ordering.
What does “Sample” mean?
A fictional business showing how madelah works. Samples cannot take orders.
Listing & selling
Is listing free?
Yes. Basic listings are free. Optional paid spotlight placements are planned.
How do I list my business?
Open Seller studio, sign in, add your details and submit for review.
Must I show my home address?
No. Choose your region; a neighbourhood is optional. Share collection details privately with buyers.
Do I need photos?
They’re encouraged. Add your logo or signature dish so buyers can see what you make.
Can you photograph my products?
Yes—send a photography enquiry through Contact to discuss availability and pricing.
Can I upload certificates?
Yes, if you have them. Uploaded certificates stay private for review; they do not automatically earn a verified badge.
Why isn’t my listing visible?
New listings and edits need review before appearing publicly. Check your status in Seller studio.
How do I report a problem?
Contact the seller for order issues. Use Contact / report a listing for concerns about a business on madelah.
